Job Description Job Profile Summary The Manager, Analytics & Insights manages a team of Business Insights & Analytics specialists and works closely with various internal stakeholders/partners to understand business objectives, identify data / information needs, opportunities for improvement and help inform and support business decisions and strategies. Provides consultative support, business insight, advice and expertise to guide decision making and/or strategic planning by leveraging and interpreting data and analytical models to provide business specific or broad strategic insight and using a variety of audience-specific communication techniques. Requirements Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required Leads and manages a sizeable team of Analyst professionals and overall operation of a diverse group in an area of moderate risk, complexity or scope Ensures an integrated approach with other business management areas, broader organization, and enterprise as appropriate Deep knowledge and understanding of businesses / technology, and organizational practices/ disciplines Sound to advanced knowledge of external competition, industry and/or market trends in relation to own function / business Focus on short to medium-term issues (e.g. 6-12 months) Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position. years of relevant experience from a business administration, statistical, mathematical, scientific or financial background Proficient PC skills including a strong competency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, and a variety of PC based analytical and reporting software packages Advanced knowledge of programming languages (i.e. SAS/SQL/ R, Visual Basic, Python) Strong analytical and program solving skills are required to interpret data and draw conclusions Excellent written and verbal communications skills Proven ability to manage a team of professional analysts Prior leadership experience or progressively responsible Department/Bank experience Ability to coach and mentor others Ability to provide conflict resolution Strong ability to successfully balance competing priorities in a fast paced environment
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
