65 a year 6 days ago 6 days ago 6 days ago The Department of Children and Families, Office of Education has an immediate need for a Teacher of Science at the Cherry Hill Campus.
Under the direction of the Supervisor of Educational Programs or Assistant Supervisor of Educational Programs, the Science Teacher plans, executes and evaluates the lessons and educational experiences of the assigned pupils, class or classes.
Performs these duties exercising independent judgement and with a comprehensive knowledge of department rules, regulations, and policies; does other related duties as required.
This position will be located in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Please note that schools within OOE have a 12-month school year.
REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION:
Requires possession of a valid standard teacher certification or valid Certificate of Eligibility (CE) or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS) as a Teacher of Science issued by the NJ Department of Education, in the following secondary subject content area:
Teacher of Science SPECIAL NOTE:
Ability to physically lift, move and position students as needed.
SPECIAL NOTE:
Experience teaching special needs and/or at-risk students is preferred.
LICENSE:
Possession of valid Standard Certificate issued by the State Board of Examiners of the New Jersey Department of Education with an endorsement in subject area(s) determined appropriate by the Appointing Authority.
