Department Overview Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is an independent and bank wide function that is responsible for supporting a comprehensive and integrated approach to managing risk for bank. This includes developing and implementing enterprise risk management strategies, frameworks, policies, practices, risk reporting, and governance structures. Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to, bank-wide governance frameworks, the Risk Appetite Statement, management of the Board Risk Committee and other executive committees, and Risk Dashboards.
To implement and support these overarching governance structures across bank, ERM collaborates with a broad network of risk management practitioners and other corporate functions in all jurisdictions where the Bank has business activities.The IHC Senior Risk Lead oversees all of the risk work streams, projects, and sub projects to make sure the Bank meets regulatory requirements and expectations for the Intermediary Holding Company initiative. Quality assurance for all program deliverables and activities, including standard PMLC documents, data cleansing, regulatory reporting and all phases of testing. Implementation of
appropriate oversight and governance activities, programs, and policies.
Job Requirements
? Ensures alignment of IHC projects and business as usual work streams, of the business, and influences necessary change in direction as appropriate
Collaborates effectively with executives, peers and business partners on deliverables and timelines.
? Influences senior business leaders by effectively anticipating and exercising critical thinking and judgment.
? Establishes and/or enhances program governance and processes for maximum performance and efficiency.
? Develops senior executive level written communications and presentations.
? Facilitates business meetings with senior stakeholders and executives.
? Tracks deliverables and works with the ERM team to meet deadlines and milestones.
Stays up-to-date on all Basel related regulatory requirements and supports the Basel Program Director on the interpretation,
training, and education.
Maintains records and historical archives for all Program Documentation on the SharePoint site.
Supports and administers the Basel Program SharePoint site.
Works with the business and other Program Office staff members to compile all of the material requested by regulators in
Qualifications
? Minimum 10-12 years of experience in project or program management, or a strong history of establishing and implementing business line or control function programs, including governance, oversight or reporting.
? Conceptual and practical thinking and implementation skills
? Excellent communication skills and consensus-building skills
? Confidence and ability to uphold standards and influence partners
? Process design and analysis skills
? Interpersonal skills to work with several business lines as well as senior members of Risk Management
? Time management and multi-tasking skills
? Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including experience preparing presentations.
? Self-Motivated - able to work for periods of time with minimal supervision with the professional confidence to know to ask question
Inclusiveness Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
