This is a nice, well preserved, working, very accurate and complete Verner bevel dial protractor. It has 8" beam and additional 2 3/4" smaller one for more complicated measurements. The beam is sliding nicely and has a lock to fix it on certain position. The Verner scale is showing on on little window. The accuracy + / - 5 '. The protractor is made of hardened stainless steel. There is no rust, stein, or dents of any kind. However there are small inventory numbers engraved as showed in the picture. There is no country of manufacturing stamped on the tool itself or the box. The number on the tool is 6170. I shall assume that is not made in the U.S. but is carbon copy of the one made in Switzerland # T64. The tool may need calibration. Thank you.
